  • Event Recap | AI in the C-Suite: From Strategy to Compliance in a Data-Driven Era

#EventRecap   Thank you for joining us at AI in the C-Suite: From Strategy to Compliance in a Data-Driven Era ! We are deeply grateful to our co-organizers Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), sponsors, speakers, and all guests  who made this event such a success. With over 80 attendees —a dynamic mix of C-level decision makers, tech professionals, and business leaders—the evening was filled with meaningful conversations and powerful connections. The panel explored how AI is reshaping business operations and decision-making while underscoring the importance of human oversight, data validation, and compliance . Speakers Jannie and Gordon highlighted the need for reliable, clean data; emphasized structural changes within organizations, also reminded us that adaptability and continuous learning are essential in the age of AI. Together, they addressed misconceptions about AI “replacing jobs” and instead framed it as an opportunity for upskilling, innovation, and sustainable growth . We were also honored to have Chi Tran, Director of HKTDC , share exciting updates on the upcoming Asian Financial Forum 2026 , a flagship platform in Hong Kong for global leaders to exchange insights on finance, innovation, and sustainability. The discussion was followed by a highly engaged Q&A session , where attendees exchanged ideas on financial sustainability, regulatory challenges, and the evolving partnership between engineering and finance leaders. The networking reception that followed allowed guests to continue building connections and exploring collaborative opportunities. We thank everyone who joined us to make this event truly impactful. Your engagement strengthens our mission to connect communities and foster innovation between Hong Kong and the Bay Area. #AI #Leadership #Innovation #Compliance #DataDriven #DigitalTransformation #CLevel #TechLeaders #FutureOfWork #Networking #SiliconValley #HKBANC #Community It was a great day and we want to acknowledge few people that made this event a success: Huge thanks to panel moderator and speakers: Anne Myong , Independent Director at Align Technology & Former CFO of Walmart China Jannie Affeld , VP at Google Gordon Lee , Chief Accounting Officer at DoorDash Special thanks to event co-sponsors: Ray Cheung , Partner, Tech Consulting, Crowe LLP Brian Rowbotham , RCO Global Tax ======================================== Stay Connected with HKBANC Website: www.hkbanc.org Email: info@hkbanc.org If you enjoyed our videos, please subscribe, like, and share our channel!
