On the past Sunday (5/19), over 300 people attended the "Hong Kong Culture Day" at San Francisco Main Library on Sunday co-organized by HKANC, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, San Francisco, Save Cantonese 守護粵語 and Happy Picasso Art Studio.
The event featured performances and exhibits of classic Hong Kong music, literature, TV and film displays, traditional Chinese medicine sachet making, and unique Hong Kong snacks and drinks. The event aimed to showcase the unique charm of Hong Kong culture. HKANC is thankful for the opportunity to co-organize this event, giving back to the community and promoting Hong Kong culture.
Attendees enjoyed classic songs by legendary Hong Kong artists, traditional snacks, and a documentary on Hong Kong festivals and folk crafts. This event highlighted the strong cultural ties between Hong Kong and San Francisco.
