We're very pleased to announce that HKBANC Chair-elect - Margaret Wong has been elected as the new Chair of the The Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide at the 25th Hong Kong Forum held on Dec 3-4, 2024!
The Federation associations are currently in 37 countries. There were four candidates and each country could cast only one vote. Margaret gave her speech with incredible passion and vision about Hong Kong’s future, and how the worldwide associations can collaborate and have a big impact.
For the last two days, Chair Brian Rowbotham and Margaret also participated in a tech tour to several corporate locations in Shenzhen and Huizhou, and enjoyed the networking opportunities with the participants.
We are proud at our own association Hong Kong Business Association of Northern California where our full board support helped to put Margaret in contention. She was also supported by the 12 chapters in the National U.S. Hong Kong Business Association (NUSHKBA).
Congratulations once again to Margaret Wong! We look forward to her continued leadership and the exciting developments ahead.
