About The Event

Help spread holiday cheer and love!

Hong Kong Association of Northern California will be co-hosting with the Asian Pacific American Community Center (APACC) for their annual toy giveaway! Since the COVID-19 pandemic, donations of toys has slowed and APACC has had to purchase toys for the children in the Visitacion Valley neighborhood.

We hope that our members can help APACC purchase toys to reach their goal of giving 500 toys to low-income, immigrant children ages 0-8.

About APACC:

APACC’s mission is to help strengthen Asian Pacific American families living in Visitacion Valley by providing linguistically and culturally appropriate programs and services. Our clients are mostly low and moderate income immigrant families with limited or no English proficiency. The goal of our programs is to ensure that our clients receive support in the form of education, resources and referrals needed to adapt and become self sufficient. Our ultimate goal is for families to thrive and our community to be confident, healthy, strong and safe.

APACC is a 501c (3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving the underprivileged Asian communities. We were founded in 1999 by a group of Asian immigrants who saw the need for social services in their communities in order to help families thrive in America. To this day, the core of our programs are still social services. Our impactful and professionally supported programs are the critical foundation to ensure that the Asian communities receive support in education, resources, and referrals needed to adapt and become self-sufficient with equal empowerment opportunities for families to thrive, and for communities to become confident, healthy and strong.
